Sponsored Projects

Faculty, staff, and students who are interested in applying for external funding through the New School to support their research, creative practice, or programs have a number of resources available to them. Institutional grants, cooperative agreements, and contracts are submitted by, awarded to, and administered by The New School (as an eligible 501(c)(3) nonprofit private institution), on behalf of eligible Principal Investigators (PIs) and Project Directors (PDs). Members of the community involved in grants, budget, and research administration follow the procedures outlined here as they develop proposals to external entities and manage their awards across the lifecycle of a sponsored project.
